Dinner In Boston: Part 1

Do you ever feel like deciding what to have for dinner is the hardest part of the day? Okay, maybe not the hardest part, but pretty darn close. Sometimes it feels like you’ve exhausted all your options, you really have no interest for anything in particular, or you really just “don’t know”. Well here it is, the “where to’s” and the “what to gets” that I use in Boston when I really just can’t decide.

Harvest

44 Brattle St, Cambridge, MA 02138

This is a long time favorite for me when I visit Cambridge. Harvest brings back great memories of family and friends with its friendly, always accommodating staff and delicious food to go along with it. I never leave disappointed and I always leave very very full. My personal favorite is the battered chicken sandwich with their amazing fries & aioli! They also have great “no-hitos” ;)

Gourmet Dumpling House

52 Beach St, Boston, MA 02111

This Chinatown restaurant became my Freshman year dinner spot. Always with my friends, the food reminded me of home and my love for dumplings. This is a great place to just relax, unwind, and enjoy the Chinatown vibe with friends. My favorites are the dumplings (obvi) and the sesame chicken.

Wen’s

247 Newbury St, Boston, MA 02116

Another school favorite, Wen’s is fast, tasty, and gives you a lot of bang for your buck. For about 12$ you can get a huge bowl of ramen with all of the fixings. The tea-stained egg is always my personal favorite. I personally like the beef ramen here, and I hope you do too!

Antico Forno

93 Salem St, Boston, MA 02113

Zach took my there this year for my birthday dinner, I have to say I was speechless. The environment is something really special. With the open brick fire, the charming staff and the delicious food, you cannot go wrong. I had the pasta panna proscuitto, and I did not regret it. Definitely a 10/10 dining venue.

Wagamama

1 S Market St, Boston, MA 02109

Wagamama is another one of my family favorites. There is just something about the way they cook their ramen that makes it taste so fresh and clean. I absolutely love eating in the atmosphere of Faneuil Hall and in the midst of yummy food. My usual is the chicken ramen!

Veggie Galaxy

450 Massachusetts Ave, Cambridge, MA 02139

I just tried this restaurant after months of wanting to go. A completely vegan and vegetarian menu, this restaurant is amazing. I never knew vegan food could taste so darn good! The chocolate frappe and the house burger definitely set the bar high.

by. CHLOE

399 Boylston St, Boston, MA 02116

This is one of my newest spots, and a fast growing favorite. I went here for the first time this year on my birthday with my mom who is vegan. I was so impressed with the food, and so was my mom. We were obsessed with the pink ketchup made out of beets and the overall happy feeling you get when you step inside of the eclectic mix that truly is by. CHLOE. Definitely try the air-fried french fries and their smoothies!
