Whole Foods, College Budget
If you know Whole Foods, I’m sure that you’ve heard of the equally popular phrase, “Whole Paycheck”. Whole Foods is known as an “expensive” food store, but after some research and looking around, I found some tasty & cheap products.
As a student at University working two jobs, and taking 28 hours of classes, life is busy. I need snacks and food that keep my brain and body fueled instead of filled with excess sugars and empty calories. Even though I know how to find yummy food in my dorm dining hall (read my post here to see more!) sometimes it just doesn’t cut it! Especially when I’m almost out of my meal plan and finals week is just around the corner. I went out on a little nightly grocery run to see what goodies I could find at Whole Foods.
Here’s what I got…
This beautiful sparkling water, perfect for late night studying & sore throats!
My all-time favorite cereal, I love this in the morning so you don’t have to spend money on breakfast when you get hungry in class!
No matter how much I love Oreos, the sugar just doesn’t make the cut! These are a much healthier choice if you need a sweet treat ( during finals I usually need a sweet treat every 5 minutes…)
Another breakfast alternative, this snack is perfect for putting in my backpack as I run out the door for my 8AM’s.
One of my favorite study snacks, popcorn!! I love the flavor of this kind, and it doesn’t make you feel greasy gross afterwards!
My favorite milk (shoutout to my mom for finding the best milk alternative!) to go with my cereal in the morning.
I’m trying out this new Icelandic greek yogurt that has amazing reviews online & so many tasty flavors to choose from!
and of course, some beautiful and shiny apples!
All of this rang up to $24 and I was shocked! I am very pleased and may or may not be snacking on some popcorn as I am writing this….
