Best Cafés In Boston: Part 2
You all seemed to love my previous post all about my favorite cafés here in Boston, so I thought, why not do another one?! If you didn't read my first café post, you can read it here. I've continued to explore and expand my search/trial of all things having to do with coffee & brunch (AKA what makes my world go 'round). I hope you enjoy!
I had been meaning to try this coffee shop for quite some time, and I was not disappointed! I loved how clean and perfect everything looked inside. There was such a lively atmosphere with the vibrant paintings on the walls and how friendly the baristas were. The blueberry muffin and cappuccino I ordered were amazing and I could taste the freshness. I recommend this lively and energetic café if you need a quick sip/snack or just need a break from the city buzz.
Ogawa
10 Milk St, Boston, MA 02108
This Japanese coffee house literally wowed me. Zach and I both ordered a ham and cheese croissant and were blown away. The pastry was so flaky and delicate and it just melted in my mouth. I ordered a cappuccino and got to browse through a book all about coffee life in Japan. The space and interior layout are so effective and pristine. This coffee house offers a section of stadium seating tat is so unique and fun. I definitely will be coming back to Ogawa to enjoy the relaxing tone and bright atmosphere. Oh, and the amazing food.
Zinneken's
1154 Massachusetts Ave, Cambridge, MA 02138
Z and I had tried out this Belgian Café before from their food truck, which you may have seen on my Instagram story (@sophiemailhot) from a couple of weeks ago. We became obsessed, or maybe I should say, I became obsessed, with how yummy the Belgian waffles were. Zinneken's specializes in Belgian waffles and has sooo many scrumptious toppings that you can add on (I had Nutella and Z had Belgian Chocolate). They also have the cutest little window seats, and such tasty lattes. I was so impressed with their stationary location just as much as I loved the food truck. I can't wait to go back and taste the warm and gooey Nutella waffle again.
The Friendly Toast
35 Stanhope Street, Back Bay, MA
Wow is all I can really say about this place. Just kidding, I can say a lot more! I was so excited to come here after hearing such great recommendations from people. Although I do advise you to not come when you are in a time crunch or any rush, because it is normally busy ( for good reason). If the funky and quirky decor isn't enough to draw you in to eat here, the food will definitely keep you in your seat. Also, I am a real sucker for diner coffee, and it was amazing here. Zach and I both left with our expectations reached and our bellies stuffed.
Thank you for reading, and I hope you enjoy & explore all of these yummy spots in Boston!
